Position:  Accounting Intern

Reporting:  Reports directly to the Account Payable Manager

Duties and Responsibilities

• Match invoices and supporting documents with check stubs
• Mail out vendor payments made via check
• Reconcile vendor statements
• Maintain vendor files
• Scan completed documents into computer software
• Order supplies for the corporate office
• Drop off and pick up mail from the PO Box
• Responsible for additional duties as assigned by the Accounts Payable Manager

Required Education & Experience:

• Min 1 year in clerical position is a plus
• Current enrollment in Accounting/Finance degree program or prior Internships in accounting or related field
• Must possess strong organizational skills
• Manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines in a timely manner
• Must have strong work ethic and dependable
• Detail oriented, professional attitude, reliable
• Ability to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced and high-volume environment with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness
• High school diploma

Duration and Hours:

• Summer Internship for 8 weeks, Part-Time position (20 hours a week)
